In staying true to one of its core values of community outreach and support, Arbitech once again supported the Spark of Love Toy Drive this holiday season. Toys toppled out of the bins as the company and its employees donated toys during the drive. In the end, two full bins were collected keeping the spark alive this holiday season.
ABC7 and Southern California Firefighters are celebrating the 21st Annual Spark of Love Toy Drive. Over the past two decades, the Spark of Love Toy Drive has successfully collected more than 7 million toys. The campaign collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for underserved children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties.

Employees from all departments and disciplines participated in and successfully completed the American Red Cross Lay CPR/AED/First Aid course on Thursday the 22nd. The training was conducted by an American Red Cross instructor at Arbitech’s Irvine headquarters. The course training and certification meets the needs of workplace responders, professional rescuers school staffs, professional responders and healthcare providers, as well as the general public. Arbitech takes pride in its employees for their commitment to these basic lifesaving skills and their devotion for personal growth outside their specific duties at Arbitech.
Increased capacity means decreased turn-around time, higher levels of customer service
Arbitech, the world’s leading independent distributor of data center products and solutions, has just released details on a significant addition to their operations. They recently completed construction on expansion of their configuration room, adding 750 square feet and increasing their bench space by 200%.
The new 2.000 square foot room allows Arbitech to double their output: Prior to the expansion, technicians could complete 150 server configurations a day; now they will be able to complete upwards of 300, or more, a day.
“The new space allows us to offer our current customers an even higher level of service,” Arbitech President Jim Binford said. “Whereas many of our large competitors will take up to two weeks to do a job, we can turn it around in as little as 24 to 48 hours. Because so many of our customers were taking advantage of the free configuration services we offer, we made the decision to expand our capabilities.“ Arbitech has seen an increase of 80% on orders requiring configuration since 2010.
